New Stitches
Knit 1 Make 1 - K1M1:
1. Begin as though knitting, but do not take stitch off needle.

2. Now, insert needle through the stitch from the right side to the left side, with the point of the needle to the BACK of the work.
3. Draw yarn through as if to knit the back loop of the stitch.
4. Slip stitch off left needle. Notice the bump at the base of the new stitch.
1. Insert right needle into first two stitches on left needle as if to purl.

2. Slip both of these stitches off left needle and on to right needle.
3. Slip tip of left needle into the first slipped stitch (the stitch farthest to the right) and lift this stitch over the second slipped stitch.
4. Slip the remaining slipped stitch back to the left needle. Knit this stitch.
Knit 2 Together - K2Tog:
1. Insert right needle into second and then first stitches as if to knit.
2. Wrap yarn as if to knit.
3. Draw yarn through BOTH stitches.
4. Slip BOTH stitches off left needle. Two stitches have become 1.
